"Līmen" Collection

This collection of dark fine-art photographs, titled Līmen — the Latin noun for threshold, boundary, or limit — explores the fragile spaces between darkness and light, presence and absence, the physical and the spiritual, life and death, and what is known and what lies beyond perception. At its core, Līmen is concerned with transition: the moment in which one state begins to dissolve and another has yet to fully emerge. The threshold is not simply a place of passage, but a state of uncertainty in its own right — suspended between what has been and what is yet to come.
